Woot! 6 more games! Bah… =/

6 new PS2 games, I’ve hardly continued on any. Let’s go through them:

1) Resident Evil 4 –> It’s a damn nice game I admit, but I’m kinda stuck at the start because you run out of bullets so easily that I end up knifing everything to death lol. I might play it in future though, it looks interesting.

2) Kingdom Hearts 2 —> Unfortunately, the cover page lied to me saying that it is the english version. No, it’s the jap version. Voice acting is fine, I can understand but I don’t understand hiragana so, meh, kinda pointless to play on. The opening is VERY VERY nice. So nice it makes me wanna play Kingdom Hearts 1 again, which is exactly what I’m doing right now. Release date for the US version is around Spring 2006 (March) , so I think I’m gonna get KH: Chains of Memories. Heard it’s a card-game thingy…wonder if it’s nice.

3) Need for Speed: Most Wanted —> Nice game, fast paced, but I’m not into driving games I guess. I totally SUCK at this game lol.

4) Suikoden Tactics —> I was anticipating this since I first saw it 2 months back in gamespot.com. I mean, you see suikoden 1,2,3 and…well maybe 4 and their strategy battles. Not so bad. That why I’m going to try it.

The results are…subpar. The game is pretty slipshod compared to great tactical games like Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy Tactics: Advance, Tactic Ogre, Hundred Swords, the digisonline.com game, and of course not forgetting La Pucelle: Tactics.

Suikoden Tactics has a very pathetic story revolving around Rune Canons. Yep, that’s right, Rune Canons. Rune Canons = Suikoden 4 = Worst Suikoden in history. Nevermind, SRPGs are not about storylines mainly…so…him, gameplay? Let’s see what new things they have for the SRPG genre. Oh yeah, the good ole Suikoden abilities and their ranks. What else…? What’s this? Terrain element? Sounds good. No actually it’s bad.

Maybe it’s because Konami thought “oh noes, what if this terrain element thing don’t appeal to gamers because they are too insignificent? Let’s make them significent and make it useful in battle!” A bit too useful if you ask me, for either side of the fight. Every character has an element. If that character steps into a terrain that is the same as his, he’ll get this uber crazy regen per round, uber leet defense and uber powerful attacks. For those standing in elemental terrains against his elemental type, he’ll get crap defense, crap attacks and worst of all…DEGENERATION. wtf?! That’s crazy, one get’s super powerful and the opposite gets super sucky. So the only strategy to this game is to stretegically place your terrain elements…meh it’s easy. Other than that, it is basically the same as any other SRPGs.

Sound is good. Animation is pretty nicely done. Unfortunately, the animation is wasted on their suckly models. It’s terrible, it’s made of fucking blocks or as john said ‘Legos’. There is no cell shading, no outlines…or any lines for that matter. When you place the legs together it looks like one lump of…Lego. Snowe looks fucking hilarious. It’s like he’s Lion King now rofl, only with grey hair. Hell, I think the gummi ship sequences in Kingdom Hearts looked better.

5) Soul Caliber 3 —> So far I’ve explored, nothing change in this game compared to SC2…

6) NeoGeo Battle Coliseum —> Meh, just another SNK game =/

BF2 screens!!! C4 fun =D

Today I had tons of fun playing BF2 as a special forces unit. God I’m becoming the next Andy -.-

Well, this screen was kinda stupid. I planted the bombs and for some reason it didn’t went off. I got killed instead T_T

I was hiding at their base running around until I heard some helicopter’s engine starting. I was out of breath and moved slowly towards the helicopter…seemed that I over estimated helicopter’s take off speed…

And yeah, that’s what happened.
This happened like 100 times. I tried to get the best screenshot but everything happened too fast lol.
This was a helicopter explosion just like the one above. Same thing happened, I heard the helicopter, I ran, I planted and I blew it off. The helicopter had two guys I think, there was one guy who wasn’t inside the helicopter but got killed by the explosion anyways. I thought I had the screenshot somewhere of the helicopter exploding to bits and that one guy flying in the air. oh well =/

okay, with that out of the way, it’s time for an update I guess…

I didn’t really like the blogskin that I picked, so I’m going to use the plain one I would in my assignment while I try to make a nicer one…that is once I understand how the blog works. At last, my mum and sis are coming home. I kinda missed them at the last week…it’s been quiet without them. Meh, I can’t believe I’m saying things like this lol I mean, I’m actually missing my sis bullying me.

Anyway I have to find someway to rebill my EQ2. Monk is boring, so I’m going to try bard or conjurer.

A brand new look?

Yeah, finally I’m getting sick of my generic blogskin so I’m making a change. Hope everyone likes the new look.

EQ2’s been pretty okay so far. It’s a grind now, but it’s more fun grinding with my monk than WoW’s rogue’s SS,SS,SS,SS Evis or Shaman’s shock, heal, wait for proc, or warrior’s cleave, MS, WW, execute or Warlock’s DoT and let pet tank or Priest’s SW:P, heal, mind blast or Hunter’s shoot shoot shoot or Paladin’s hit hit Hammer of fucktice, hit hit heal or Druid’s…well…almost everything druid does in grinding is boring with their sucky pre-50 or Wizard’s poly fireball fireball, AM, frost nova shit.

Heck, I can even say that John’s ranger is having more fun grinding than me. Mine is just straight up combat and spam buttons.

Well, mantainance is almost over, time to play again

Holiday came early!

Slow update, but busy and lazy as usual. Much has happened since the last update: My step forward in CVS2, some of my classmates quitting DOTA and moving to standard games or some FPS’s, I am currently 8th Kyu rank in Kendo, mum and sis gone overseas and my MMO hopping to EQ2.

Okay, I’ll just go through one by one.

CVS2:
Thing have been going pretty well in my CVS2 game. I am already pretty much on par with some of the players at Bugis. My Kyo is now playing lotsa mind games with his attacks. Rock have seen a great improvement since a month ago; I can do evac toss without doing the shift now. My Hibiki isn’t as dependant on my fav. finisher anymore and as a result, I sometimes miss even if the side I throw the opponent to was favourable to me. However, my Hibiki has grown stronger because of this independancy.

A-Groove: I can do shoshosho on one side consistantly! yay for me!
Roll Cancel: I’m getting suckier at RCing! yay? -.-

Quitting DOTA:
Well, DOTA sucks now for me. I was fun last time, but now it’s so darn boring to play. Patches are flowing in like a waterfall that I gave up. Heber and I (and Joko), are somewhat trying to get back to WC3 Standard games. Not many of my classmates really liked the standard game tho. Too used to other kinds of games I guess. Standard game IS fun =/

8th Kyu:
Yep, I finally got a rank in Kendo, the 8th Kyu. Now I can finally wear a goddamn ‘man’ and spar. However, I haven’t wore it yet because after the grading, I haven’t been attending kendo. I’m busy now lol, and I’m getting busier! =D

EQ2:
I seriously didn’t except EQ2 to be this good. Now I know why Damon and Domonic didn’t last long in WoW. WoW sucks my ballz. When I saw John play I was like ‘omfg EQ2 pwns’. I remember almost falling asleep watching Goretooth grind. I didn’t fall asleep watching Lull grind :p. Anyway, I’m currently waiting for an a/c sponsored by damon. Meanwhile I’m playing on Domonic’s a/c and tried a little bit… And I fucking could not stop. After hearing the good old ‘DING!’ I wanted to hear it again. Tradeskilling in EQ2 is much much more fun than WoW. WoW tradeskilling is pure cock 10 second idea. EQ2’s has more to offer.

I don’t know about what combat is like in ole EQ2, but now I’m only level 8 and struggling with all the buttons. I already had 2 bars full of abilities or something. Oh and the ‘vision’ effects are pretty cool .
