A new breath of air, PSP modded – DJMax Portable 2

It’s been 2 weeks since school started, probably also the same time I declared I stop putting gaming as the central of my life. I will still dagame, but significantly less now in every way. Most especially fighting games. I’m rather tired of it honestly. My skills have dropped an incredible amount recently. I think it’s mostly because I don’t even feel like playing anymore. Heh, it’s called a burnout. How long it will last is unknown like all burnouts. It’s damn stupid okay: I don’t even do fancy stuff to kill scrubs anymore. I just pick blanka and practice RC like a Poh.

I have changed a few things of mine. I modded my PSP to 3.10OE-A so that I can…do stuff with it. Sony has apparently created an incredible console, limited only by…Sony. Wallpapers, mp3 player, flash player, wma player, the ability to play PSX games…all these could’ve been what sells PSP but Sony decided against it. It pretty sad actually. The recently updates are basically preventing you to mod your PSP. Sony is smart at marketing though. They allow you to play PSX games on your PSP provided you have a PS3 and use its download center to download PSX games (paying money of course). Kinda futile to those who already modded their PSPs though.

DJMax Portable 2 was a pretty nice upgrade from the first. Right now, the songs are as impressive as the first: 50% is to my liking, the other 50% sucks balls. There is now a 5 button mode as well and now you are able to link up with your friend and play through a network. Pretty cool huh. For free too *cough*.

Having modded my PSP, I rummaged my room for my secret stash of PSX games. I finally found it and picked one of my favourite FF of all time: FF6. After that I shall play FF5 and maybe even 4, just for the sake of completing time at least once. I have played FF6 at least 7 times, this probably my 8th. FF6 is so rich with information that have nothing to do with the story; so filled with secrets. It brings me back more than 6 years ago when I first saw Edgar’s godly jockey mask when he’s using his tools. So many things in that game. However, I’m not going to rant on why I love FF6 more than any other FFs here. Maybe next time.

Right now, I’m simply going to run around my old blogs and put up more pictures so that I can identify with my old accounts easily.

The roads of the kings beckons me.
